Since many kids in our communities need help getting school supplies, ICCU team members decided to conduct a friendly competition to see which department or branch could raise the most money and school supplies to donate to local elementary schools in the Pocatello area. Team captain Aaron McCabe stated, \u201cIt is hard to imagine that so many local children are struggling and going without many of their basic needs beings met. With so many distractions in learning, it\u2019s hard to get ahead if you don\u2019t have the fundamental tools to excel.\u201d McCabe also stated, \u201cWhen we deliver the boxes of school supplies, you can feel the appreciation from the teachers and staff.\u201d The ICCU school supply drive collected more than 3,000 items plus additional money for several schools to buy any supplies that they were missing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
