ICCU is excited to be sponsoring Idaho Gives for the fourth year in a row!\u00a0 Idaho Gives is a statewide, giving day taking place on May 5! On this day, donors can visit the Idaho Gives website and donate online to a cause of their choice. \u00a0There are hundreds of causes to choose from and 100% of all donations made that day are tax deductible.<\/p>\n
All 501(c)(3) public charities based, or with significant service delivery, in Idaho are eligible to receive donations once registered for Idaho Gives. Categories of participating nonprofits include health and human services, arts and culture, children and families, parks, and more.\u00a0 Last year, Idahoans contributed nearly $1.1 Million to more than 675 nonprofit causes in communities large and small, across the state. Since the inaugural event in 2013, Idahoans have raised more than $2.3 Million for participating organizations!<\/p>\n
To make it fun, cash prizes from sponsors will be awarded throughout the day.\u00a0 Participating nonprofits can win random Golden Tickets or Donor Appreciation prizes in addition to earning Scoreboard prizes.<\/p>\n
The event also includes an assortment of activities around the state, including open houses, community celebrations, block parties and more!<\/p>\n
Nonprofits have been asked to play an ever-growing role in serving our communities and are often trying to do so with shrinking resources. Idaho Gives is a great opportunity for our community to help provide the resources to build stronger nonprofits in our great state.<\/p>\n
