The theme this year is Celebrate America!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We are excited to announce that there will be a new route this year! The parade will start at 9am near <a href=\"https:\/\/www.portneuf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portneuf Medical Center <\/a>and continue down through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Idaho State University\u2019s<\/a> campus. This route will take advantage of some of the most beautiful streets in Pocatello and will be a nice flat or downhill stroll for all those walking in the parade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Keep an eye out for new performers and fun surprises!\u00a0 Hear the sounds of the 25<sup>th<\/sup> Army Band out of Boise Idaho and watch for a special formation flyover by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avcenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Avcenter Air Charter Services<\/a> featuring their Cessna Citation Ultra jet aircraft and their King Air 200 turboprop aircraft.\u00a0 The flyover will commence at 8:50 am with the aircraft flying south through the valley and over the Portneuf Medical Center and down the parade route to the West.\u00a0 The aircraft will then fly the route in reverse and exit to the North at 9 am.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">There will be great prizes for those entering this year\u2019s parade.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Best School Spirit \u2013 First Place: $250, Runner Up: $100<\/li>\n<li>Most Original &#8211; $250<\/li>\n<li>Best Business\/Commercial &#8211; $150<\/li>\n<li>Most Patriotic &#8211; $250<\/li>\n<li>Grand Prize &#8211; $350<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you are interested in being a part of this year\u2019s parade you must visit pocatelloparade.org and enter by Monday, June 26. Registration fees are $25 for nonprofits and $35 for businesses.
