This is the sixth year in a row that we have helped support this great event. Idaho Gives is a statewide, giving day taking place on May 3. On this day, donors can visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.idahogives.org\/\">Idaho Gives<\/a> website and donate online to a cause of their choice. There are hundreds of causes to choose from and 100% of all donations made that day are tax deductible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Last year,\u00a0marked the biggest Idaho Gives in history! 10,570 individuals raised\u00a0$1,379,406 for 628 nonprofits. Since the inaugural event in 2013,\u00a0Idahoans have raised more than $4.8 million for participating organizations!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To make it fun,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idahogives.org\/prizes\">cash prizes<\/a>\u00a0from sponsors will be awarded throughout the day where you will have the chance to win more money for the organization you donated to.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The event will also include an assortment of activities around the state, including open houses, community celebrations, block parties and more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Employer participation will be a key factor in reaching the $1.5 million goal set for this year\u2019s Idaho Gives campaign. ICCU recognizes the economic and social impact that Idaho nonprofits bring to the state, including adding $2.81 billion to Idaho\u2019s economy and over 55,000 jobs annually \u2013 and will match all employee donations during Idaho Gives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cIdaho employers play an integral role in the success of Idaho Gives, and it\u2019s our responsibility to inform employees about the opportunity to give, encourage them to learn about the nonprofit work going on in their communities, and for us to give both as a company and personally,\u201d said ICCU President\/CEO Kent Oram.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Idaho\u00a0Gives\u00a0is a great opportunity for our community to help provide the resources to build stronger nonprofits in our great state.
