Pocatello, Idaho – ICCU is excited to announce the grand opening of its new branch in Pocatello. Located at 515 E Benton St<\/a>, this new location will replace the existing branch positioned across the street at 544 E Benton St.<\/p>\n

For ICCU, the opening of this new location holds special significance in the history of the credit union. In 1976, this lot was originally owned by ICCU, and housed a two-story building with a branch on the first floor, and the headquarters on the second. The administrative offices remained at this location until 1997. At that time, the Benton branch was then moved across the street, the original branch was closed, and the property was sold.<\/p>\n

As ICCU\u2019s membership has continued to grow, the need for more state-of-the-art branches has continued to increase. The decision to build a new branch to replace the dated facility with state-of-the-art energy and security systems allowed for ICCU to continue operating without disrupting member service while completing the project.<\/p>\n

With over 5,200 square feet and three drive-thru lanes with high-definition 15\u201d screens, this branch offers the unique experience of having a remote drive-thru, detached from the building. This was designed with the local membership and neighborhood impact in mind to offer an optimal experience for all members using the drive-thru, regardless of the direction they are entering the branch from. This design has also allowed for a section of the parking lot to be designated as 5th Street Bagelry<\/a> parking. These five parking spots allow better access to this local restaurant, which ICCU believes benefits the community overall.<\/p>\n

This full-service location has multiple private offices for lending and business services, six teller stations, four financial service stations, and a large waiting area. In the lobby, a kiosk is available for members to browse accounts online while learning about the newest available banking tools. iPads are also accessible for members to use while opening accounts, signing documents, and registering for online banking. Safe deposit boxes are also available.<\/p>\n

ICCU is proud to lead the way in finding environmentally friendly solutions while building new branches. The modern design of this new building includes tall windows and ceilings that allow more natural light into the core of the building. With an enhanced HVAC system, energy efficient windows, lighting controls, and LED lighting, this branch is one of the most energy efficient branches ICCU has ever built.<\/p>\n

This branch pays homage to the heart of Pocatello: Idaho State University. Through a joint partnership between ISU and ICCU, you can feel the Bengal pride throughout the branch. From artwork that highlights ISU campus buildings and vistas, architectural designs that mimic campus design features, a coin room with an LED ISU logo, and a backlit fabric wall behind the teller line wall featuring the Bengal Tiger logo, ICCU\u2019s dedication to servicing the needs of the students and employees of ISU as well as local residents shines through. ICCU is proud to support Idaho State University.<\/p>\n

This unique branch will meet the needs of ICCU\u2019s membership in the Pocatello area.
